Minerals of the Blue River Carbonatites

The Pacific Museum of the Earth will be hosting a presentation titled, “Minerals of the Blue River Carbonatites” on Friday, April 18th at 6:30 PM at the Pacific Museum of the Earth in the Earth and Ocean Sciences Building at UBC.

A carbonatite is a rare volcanic body that can host a slew of valuable metals, including tantalum and niobium. The speaker is Rod Tyson from Tyson’s Fine Minerals.
