Fieldtrip: Yale Bar

The British Columbia Lapidary Society will be hosting a fieldtrip to Yale Bar on Sunday November 5, 2006 for the usual assortment of materials in the Fraser River including agate, jasper, serpentine, sillimantie, and the elusive jade. The meeting time/place is 9:00 AM at the Bridal Falls Coffee Shop.

Tools are clothes for cool or wet weather, good footwear such as hiking boots, rock hammer, squirt bottle, bucket or backpack to carry the goodies.

If you plan on going it is recommeded you call the group leader to ensure the event is still a go. The leader for this fieldtrip is De Singleton who can be reached at 604-599-6938.

IMPORTANT: BC Wagon Masters will be asking all participants to "sign-in" acknowledging that the participant is indeed responsible for their own conduct and safety. Participants must be members in good standing of a club belonging to the B.C. Lapidary Society, be a member in good standing of a GMFC affiliate club or be a sponsored guest with a club member. Club members would include our neighbors from the US who belong to the US clubs, and who are always welcome on BC Wagonmaster trips.
